Affiliate links and recommendations

At times, in my blogs or other areas throughout the site, I refer or recommend a product using what is known as an affiliate link or referral link.  When readers purchase an item from one of these links, I earn a small commission, basically like a small “thank you” from the vendor I referred.

I’m also a member of the Amazon Associate program.  As an Amazon Associate, I may earn from qualifying purchases.

It’s important to know that I will only recommend products I believe in, have researched, and in most cases, use or have used directly.  In fact, I strive to recommend products that would fit most of my audiences.

It is my goal to recommend and promote small businesses, authors, and products from small businesses as often as possible.   In some cases, these also have affiliate or referral programs, but often they don’t have any type of affiliate relationship.  I simply believe in the art of promoting and talking about good brands and people!

Here is the most important thing, referral or affiliate programs don’t cost you anything, nothing, not a penny!  The vendors or affiliate companies pay me directly.
